sometimes what we get is too good to be true and our suspicions are correct

You are in bed.

You set the alarm for the next day, and you are excited to rest.

Your slumber begins, you smile to yourself- you’re now getting rest.

You close your eyes and think, “This is the best sleep ever!”

As you continue your slumber, a smile forms, you went to bed late last night, but you are now somehow getting much more sleep than you anticipated.

You refuse to look at your phone. Any blue light will ruin the moment and your precious sleep.

The thought of sleeping through your alarm quickly fades. Your bed is warm, your body is resting, and everything is swell.

You have now gotten enough sleep that your body naturally starts to wake up.

Wow! you think, that was way more sleep than I anticipated.

You are excited, happy, and so thrilled to wake up before the alarm. You get up, make your bed, and start planning the day.

The thought of being ahead of schedule excites you.

As you pick up your phone, you realize that it died that night, and it has been 3 hours since your alarm was supposed to go off.

Frustrated, you are now in a weird phase where you cannot start your day until a specific time, or you suck it up and try to get ahead.

Yes, you were right to be suspicious of the amount of sleeping you were getting, but hey, at least you got much-needed rest, right?
